Communication to Kangaoo Math Thailand participants on Coronavirus

Dear Sir/Madam,


Your health and safety and ultimately that of your students is paramount.

Phi Connections Thailand has been monitoring the Novel Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19) very closely. We would like to reassure you that we are in close and frequent consultation with the regulator as well as the medical professionals.

The following measures have been put in place for the safety and wellbeing of our community.


Temperature Screenings

We will be conducting temperature screenings for students, teachers and parents. Students with fever will be sent home.

Throughout the contest day, we will continue with our health procedures of monitoring students closely in their classrooms and sending them to the health center for assessment should they present with any symptoms of flu.


Stay at Home/Absent from the Contest

This applies to all students with recent travel history to high-risk countries within the last 14 days. Please bring and show your passports.


High-risk Countries (14-day quarantine needed)

China (Mainland) / Hong Kong SAR / Macau SAR

Italy / Iran / Taiwan / Singapore

Japan / South Korea / France /Germany


Observe good personal hygiene

Wash hands with soap before entering exam rooms. We also provide alcohol gel. Every student must bring and wear a mask.

We understand that some of the measures above may be of inconvenience to you. We appreciate your understanding and assistance in keeping our community safe.
