Scoring Rule: Proof questions. Each question carries 10 marks. Answers left blank will be marked as 0; Partial marks are awarded depending on the clarity of the participants Mathematical presentation. We advise working in rough first, then writing up your best attempt. One complete solution will gain more credit than several unfinished attempts.
Awards:
Gold Medal: Top 20 in UK
Silver Medal: 21-50 in UK
Bronze Medal: 51-100 in UK
Distinction: the 2023 thresholds is 25+, about the top 25% of students achieved this award
Merit: the 2023 thresholds is 12+, about the top 66% of students achieved this award
* The top Scoring students will receive a Certificate of Distinction or a Certificate of Merit depending on the cutoff score. Also, those who reach the Gold, Silver or Bronze thresholds will receive the corresponding medal.
